FADS: Day 8

Day 8: Night

So this is what I’m doing tonight… watching a movie, or as I like to call it, procrastinating on my homework (2 bio assignments, Metamorphosis reading, history reading [read: naptime], and a Spanish and Bio quiz)… and it’s only the third week of school.

Also, I’m enjoying being a stalker (read: being on yearbook staff, a dream of mine ever since sixth or seventh grade), and getting away with it!

In other news, I’ve found out I’m actually a lot less photogenic than I thought I was (which wasn’t very photogenic)… uploading a picture to the ACT website?! Why can’t I just bring my student ID?!

Until next time, Em 🙂

Awkward story time!

So, after reading Talie’s new post, I decided that I should post one of my most hilarious stalker stories. Not that I have many. Anyways, here it is!

I was only a humble little eighth grader when I was talking to some of my friends and we decided to stalk the cute boys/our friends in our class and go to their houses and ding-dong-ditch and give them brownies (it was Valentine’s Day). By leaving them on their doorsteps. Not creepy at all. Anyways, we only stalked like 3 people, and none of them were cute guys.

Later on in the school year, I was hanging out with two of my friends (they weren’t involved in the Valentine’s Day escapade) when we decided to stalk one of our friends, who just so happened to be a cute guy that I had a crush on (this cute guy may or may not have a six pack now…. hehehehe). We put on my old Halloween costumes, which were a Rubik’s cube and a clothes dryer (with a door that opened and revealed a piece of butcher paper with socks taped onto it). Very covert. Anyways, we were at the entrance of his cul-de-sac when we chickened out and decided to turn around and go home. So I guess it wasn’t a completely successful mission, because while we did see his house, we didn’t actually go into the cul-de-sac.

I do realize that this is one of those you-had-to-be-there stories, but I’m still posting it, in the hopes that it will brighten up someone’s day.

Until next time, Em 🙂

Cuteness and graduation

That awkward moment when you see more cute guys at your brother’s junior high graduation than you normally see in a week… and then proceed to stalk them.

Also, Mimi told Damian that he looked cute in his profile picture… finally something is happening in that relationship. I swear, they’re gonna be 60 before they go out. And they like each other.

Also, I’m going bike shopping this weekend!!! I just love used bike stores… you can get nice road bikes for $200 🙂

Until next time, Em 🙂

WHAT HAVE WE DONE

Christy just sent a Facebook message to Ben saying “hey it’s the girl from service with the birthday by you! 😉 What’s up? :)”

What have we done…

Also, ChaiTeaLover listed off all of the things she knew about Ben just from looking at his Facebook page. She went on for 20 minutes. Holy mustaches.

Until next time, Em 🙂

Putting our stalker skills to the test

Today at service, Mimi, Megan, Christy and I saw this super-cute guy walk in. And of course he helped sort things with Megan’s mom. And they chatted it up. Apparently he was looking at us the whole time we were volunteering! Right before we left, we went to help Megan’s mom and we started chatting with the cute guy, I’ll call him Ben. He asked what school we went to and Megan’s mom answered and told him what grade we were in…. apparently he’s a freshman in college and HE WAS INTERESTED IN US! And it just got better. Christy was telling us about her birthday which is coming up, and Ben exclaimed “Oh when’s your birthday? June 29th? Darn, mine’s June 22nd!” So now we know his name, what grade he’s in, what college he goes to, his birthday, and one of the classes he’s in (he has to do service to fulfill a requirement). Now all Mimi and I have to do is look him up on Facebook and voila! Oh and after service, when we were talking about Ben, Megan’s mom exclaimed “if I had known you liked him I would have found out much more about him for you guys!” Oh my gosh, I love my service group.

Until next time, Em 🙂

UPDATE 4:32PM: I FOUND HIM ON FACEBOOK, AND CHRISTY ADDED HIM. HE WAKEBOARDS 🙂

UPDATE 7:30PM: I ADDED HIM! LET’S SEE HOW THIS GOES…

Tennis state!!!

These past few days I was at tennis state, and in one word it was: awesome!

Shelly got 1st place (I’m not surprised)

I saw so many hot guys (I didn’t know they existed in my state!)

Megan and I were total stalkers by taking pictures of hot guys playing tennis

Megan, ChaiTeaLover, Shelly and I made so many new inside jokes it’s not even funny – I can’t go to a gas station or a bathroom anymore without laughing

I have eaten more Sour Patch Kids, Starbursts and Chex Mix in the last 2 days than I have in my whole life

I have decided that I’m (most likely) going to be on my tennis team next year

I met two very… interesting tennis coaches (they’re actually pretty good looking, and young. Awkward)

I found out how to find out someone’s address using Google

Until next time, Em 🙂

Drumroll please…

OK, so I have some big news. I’ve decided to take a sort of… boy break. I’ve decided not to freak out about searching for my soul mate… I mean I’m only in High School! I’ve got a lot of time ahead of me (hopefully)… so I’ve decided to take a little break from writing on my blog.

Of course I’ll post whenever something happens with the guys I know, or when any disastrous boy-centered events happen. But I’m taking a break for a while.Image

Anyways, I actually have a hilarious boy-centered story to share. Today I volunteered with my classmates, and when we were driving back to school, my friend Mimi was checking this guy out. And it just so happened that he was walking by a bus stop. And one of the guys at the bus stop was totally checking Mimi out, and she freaked. It was pretty darn funny.

Until next time, Em 🙂
