FADS: Day 13

Day 13: 10pm

So… since I’ll probably be asleep by 10pm (let’s see how long this lasts), I decided to take a picture of what I’m doing right now. Namely, homework. That’s due next week. Don’t judge me, I’m bored and have watched thirteen Lizzie Bennet Diaries videos today so… yeah. I have a right to be sick of procrastinating.

Oh and here’s the recipe for the homemade chai tea latte! Go try it, it’s delicious! I used Stash chai spice tea and it was so good!

Until next time, Em 🙂

FADS: Day 11

Day 11: Black and white

So as you may know, this is my mom’s old 35mm manual film camera. And I love it to death. Even though I suck at photography and am just learning how to not screw up a whole roll of film by having it rip in half or accidentally pressing the button that rewinds the whole roll of film… yeah.

Anyways, I’m on the yearbook staff (woohoo) and I need a nice camera. One that is digital, and has manual settings. Which ours doesn’t. Well, one does, but it requires four AA batteries (only the new kind, not used!) and takes 5 minutes to start up – but only after you press random buttons and hope it works. The other one? Well, it’s been dropped repeatedly (apparently nobody in my family believes in camera cases) so now the thing that keeps your photos steady doesn’t work. Oh and did I mention that it doesn’t have any manual settings? At all.

Right now I am trying to convince my parents to give me a loan so I can get a nice camera – one that actually has manual settings. Wish me luck.

Until next time, Em 🙂

FADS: Day 6

Day 6: Blue

The topic of this picture makes me feel blue… homework. My teachers assign so much homework it’s not even funny. Megan got assigned 12 questions (each question should be answered with a paragraph of 8-10 sentences) and a bubble map, due the day after it was assigned. Yeah, really.

Until next time, Em 🙂

FADS: Day 5

Day 5: Bright

I’m sorry to get all analytical on y’all, but this is the only thing I could think about when I saw the topic for today.

Here we have a wonderful picture of the movie I watched today, “Pretty Woman”.

How does this relate to “Day 5: Bright,” you ask? It’s the 2nd week of Junior year and already the teachers are loading on several hours of homework. Really?! My goal for this school year is to do my homework with a minimal amount of procrastinating. Well, that didn’t work out too well today. I still have some bio reading, and instead of doing the rest tonight, I decided to do it tomorrow and just watch “Pretty Woman” instead.

I came up with this great analogy, but it sounded way better in my head… here goes. So instead of being a “bright” student and doing all my homework before 9:30, the time I SHOULD go to sleep so that I get 9 hours of sleep, instead I watched a movie and am sitting here BLOGGING about my procrastinating-ness. Not very “bright” of me, eh?

Until next time, Em 🙂

FADS: Day 4

Day 4: Something new

So… I don’t usually do my homework ahead of time. But one of my goals for this school year is to not procrastinate. So… here’s a picture of my planner, as it looked yesterday (Monday)… with everything crossed off (even the stuff due on Wednesday)… I’m very proud of myself, even though I did procrastinate on that history reading…

Until next time, Em 🙂
