Thread and needle

Painters’ tape cut in half or masking tape

1. Cut your twill to the length you want your strap to be, plus two inches

2. Tape down the twill to a thick sewing ruler or sewing board

3. Tape the pattern you want and paint every-third triangle with the first color (every-fourth triangle if you’re using four colors)

4. Paint every-third triangle with the second color (every-fourth triangle if you’re using four colors)

5. Paint every-third triangle with the third color (every-fourth triangle if you’re using four colors)

6. Repeat for the whole piece of twill until you’ve painted the whole piece

7. Once the paint is dry, take off the tape

8. Once you have painted the whole piece of twill, put the swivel hook on the twill and fold over one inch to create a pocket for it

9. Sew across the piece of twill and use glue first if you want to strengthen it really well

10. Attach the key chain ring to the swivel hook

11. Attach the key chain ring to your camera using the metal rings on either side

12. Enjoy!

Until next time, Em 🙂
